The food at Trattoria Antellesi
Our cooking is simple and genuine, just like grandma used to make, with traditional country recipes that follow the seasons, highlighting the ingredients that have made Florentine history: unsalted bread (pane sciocco); kale (cavolo nero); beans; tripe and lampredotto; and the ‘ciccia’ (meat) led by His Majesty, the “Bistecca alla Fiorentina” (Florentine T-bone steak).
This is our commitment: never to forget tradition.
In the kitchen, more than anywhere else, the identity of this marvelous city is passed down.
